About Zine Library:

Glasgow Zine Library (GZL) is a community archive and zine library based in Govanhill, Glasgow, established in 2018.

GZL currently holds a collection of over 1000 zines, which have either been donated from makers all over the world or created at one of their in-house events.

As well as their growing collection, GZL also hosts workshops, community meals, film screenings, discussion groups, reading groups, children’s arts and crafts, social clubs, and more.

Their year-round programme events are community-focused and designed to be affordable and accessible. GZL collaborates with, and employs local workshop leaders to deliver events, as well as partnering with other like-minded organisations on larger projects.

GZL also programme Glasgow Zine Fest, an annual event which has been running since 2013, and sees zine-makers and appreciators from all over the world flock to Glasgow for one weekend.
