Participatory / Community Engaged Art

Drop in to the Bowling Green community garden throughout the day for a scavenger hunt - finding hidden artworks and creating new ones.

Clara and Maria are two artists that met volunteering at the Bowling Green.

Maria’s practice explores visual narrative and the many forms it can take. She works across a range of media, including drawing and printmaking. Lately, she has been exploring a more participatory aspect to her work through installations, workshops and collaborations.

Clara works across sound, filmmaking, gardening, writing and photography - centred around collaboration and conversation. Their work explores the ways that systems of power play out across the built environment and the role of dreams, imagination and intangible heritage as alternative forms of urban knowledge.
